Weekend of new and cold
14.04.2009 20 °C
This past weekend I was in Barcelona, Spain hitting up some amazing sites, doing some fun things and freezing my ass off in the process. It was warmer in Stuttgart, by far, than in Barcelona which was a bit of disappointment but I didn't let ruin my time there.
Here are some of the high lights:
-Visited Sagrada Familia and was totally blown away.
-Stayed on La Ramblas
-Visited most of Gaudi's important buildings
-Viewed Barcelona way up high from Tibidabo
-I didn't get to hike the pyranees but I was able to view spectacular & hike part of Montserrat
-Drank some beautiful white Sauvignon Blanc at the Torres Winery
-Ran smack dab into the middle of the Easter Festival and almost caused some little old ladies to call the policia on me.
-Took the Barcelona train to Camp Nou to see FCBarcelona (I still don't understand the mad love for this sport) all by myself
-Viewed many, many lovers kissing and touching all over Barcelona. Love really is in the air in that city.
I will update this blog on my Barcelona adventure in a few days as I am heading out the Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest (spring festival) for a few beers tonight and then hitting up the city for more fun. I know, it is a work night. Good times!
