My new cookbooks.....German style

After work last week I went to a mall in Ludwigsburg with my friend Jenny to originally return a skirt I bought at H&M and for her to buy her father a birthday gift. We managed to accomplish both and more. Two girls in a high fashion mall is a recipe for a lot of spending.

After returning my skirt, I quickly bought a pair of cute black flats, a new pretty fleece, scarf and top, at H&M. Jenny bought new wedges, too cute, a new purse and earrings!!! It was great fun but during our shopping, we ventured into a book store so that Jenny could purchase something else. That is when I saw swabian style cookbooks. And, one of them was on sale. I had to have!!

The first book, Original Schwabisch: The Best of Swabian Food, by Hermine Kiehnle and Monika Graff is authenic swabian fare, only written in english.

I also bought "Schwäbische Küche: Ein kulinarischer Streifzug von Heilbronn bis Tübingen" as a way of keeping it real, German style.

I am extremely pleased with my purchases as they are authentic and only cost me 13,00euro total!
